to be Written Like One
You cannot use traditional direct
response methods to write your Internet pitch.
This
IS the truth. How do you attach ONE dollar bills to your
Internet sales letter? Even the greatest copywriter in the world can't. Nobody
can.
What
you CAN do is to create something that is just as powerful.
I spent YEARS trying to study what I call "Internet Selling

read and react to information online.

Attention cannot be bought, it can

Visitors buy your products IF and
ONLY IF their reasons for buying outweigh the resistances to buying.
Why do you spend $197
a pop to get a couple of motivational mail order courses, or $47
to learn how to improve and boost your memory?
Because you expect all
these products to bring benefits that outweigh (and by a good many
times) the effort it took to get them.
The first step to getting
a customer to buy is to engage their minds in a RATIONAL battle. My
copies pile on the reasons for buying, while reducing the resistances to
near zero. Every copy that does that will sell without question.

it is to be rational, because I'm also a software developer and programmer
who has developed applications for both individuals and corporations)

Visitors sometimes act for STRANGE reasons
which even they themselves fail to explain.
Call them impulse
purchases or anything you want, but we do sometimes make purchases
that even the buyers themselves FAIL to explain.
However, is it really as
"irrational" as we see it? Not exactly.
There is strong
scientific proof that a sub-conscious does exist, and it is
responsible for our everyday thoughts, habits and actions without us
having to put any conscious thought into them.
The subconscious is such
a strong influencing factor when it comes to buying decisions that
you cannot afford to ignore it! My sales copy will "speak" to the
subconscious mind using a language that transcends words - using
imagery, color, font selection and a mirage of other factors.
