My Most Controversial
Copywriting Technique of All Time
By Yeo

There is
one technique I have always avoided openly discussing. I use this all the
time right at the very end when I have finished writing a sales copy.
I call it
"energizing the copy".
If it
sounds mystical or out of this world to you, it is not. Everything
actually happens in tune with the Laws of this Universe and I will take
some time to explain why.
Some
years ago I discovered the wonderful technique of "self hypnosis". As a
part time magician I was already aware that hypnosis can used on stage as
a performance medium, or in medicine as a form of therapy. But little did
I know that I could hypnotize myself.
What
followed was one of the most enriching periods of my life. With direct
access to my subconscious, I found myself correcting many of my bad habits
and preparing for many positive changes ahead.
If you
are new to this, do pick up a copy of "The Power of Your Subconscious
Mind" by Joseph Murphy. It is a classic and the authority text on the
subconscious.
To cut a
long story short, by hypnotizing yourself you can actually access your
subconscious mind much easier and faster than before.
The
subconscious in itself is an amazing revelation to me. I have used it
successfully on myself in a wide range of instances, from stopping pain to
even getting myself back on track again.
One of
the laws of the subconscious is that you can direct your energy towards
helping others and that's precisely what I do.
After
writing each ad, I visualize the happy faces of the readers who chance
upon the ad, getting energized by it and eventually buying the product.
Of course
your sales copy and the product you sell has to be credible to begin with,
but tapping the powers of your subconscious mind can actually do a whole
lot more for your business.
Just as I
have found out.
