Should I write my own copy?

Most
Internet marketers make the mistake of spending a whole lot of money on
developing their products, and then scrimping on the sales letter.
A large
majority of them choose to do it themselves, which is frankly the worse
possible choice anyone can make.
I see a
lot of such cases on a daily basis when these clients finally come to me
with their self written sales letters for a rewrite. With just a bit of
tweaking, the same product starts to sell all of a sudden.
Your
sales letter IS far more important than you think it is!
Without
the sales letter, your customers will never be able to get an idea of how
good your product is even if they wanted to. But with a high powered,
persuasive sales letter, you can honestly put up NOTHING for sale and
still get people to pay you!
Just
kidding. I have always believed in ethics and generating goodness for
people around me.
But just
take a look at a particular Internet "guru", who purportedly sells a $197
report through his website by using a very engaging and extremely powerful
sales letter.
I hate to
admit it, but I almost got taken in by the letter! If you have a chance
to, go read it because you will see why the letter is just so riveting.
To cut a
long story short, this "guru" now has people asking for refunds all over
judging from the large number of refund requests that went unanswered. But
he did manage to sell enough copies to make himself a millionaire I
suppose.
A good
copy can bring you and your sales anywhere. But don't count on it to make
your product better if it sucks in the first place.
